During my stay, I found the lack of elevator access quite inconvenient, especially while managing luggage. the bathroom facilities were limited, with only two tubes of toiletries provided for our family room, which felt insufficient. The lack of breakfast options was disappointing, as the nearby cafes were sparse and hard to locate.

the hotel is very central in downtown launceston, just a mere five minutes walk to the heart of town, where you can easily find the national automobile museum of tasmania and enjoy the beautiful greenery of city park right next door, making it an ideal spot for weekend strolls and discovering local landmarks.

City Park Grand surprised me with its spacious rooms and a super cozy vibe. Loved the comfy bed and great shower! Just a heads up, though, it can get a bit noisy at night if you’re near the restaurant vent. a pleasant stay!
